I'm an enthusiastic amateur photographer with Fotogroep Haarlem, and in particular I enjoy what I call attentive photography:

  • Personal portraits, informal family portraits
  • Small and special events
  • Bringing out the beauty of e.g. a neighborhood, a building, or an object.

  1. IJmuiden shipyard

    19 Apr 2026 View from inside the dated control house that runs the railway drydock. The windows and everything else has a layer of grime. Through the dirty windows you can discern the shape of a close-by bow of a ship that is in the railway dock.

    22 Sep 2025 A telephoto shot of a deer with antlers somewhere in the dunes. It shows the deer from its right side and somewhat from behind, and it has turned its head to look straight to the right, so it shows in profile.

  14. Amsterdam harbour

    19 Sep 2025 Huge heaps of coal and gravel, and a green tractor pulling a blue watertank passes by, spraying water on a heap of coal. The spray is white with faint rainbow colors and contrasts with the black coal.
